What Is The Compound Effect?

The Compound Effect is a book authored by Darren Hardy. The premise is that rather than tackling all your goals one at a time you can instead chip away at them all at the same time. Progress is progress regardless if you spend 3 hours or 3mins on each goal every day. Your efforts will compound to something substantial if you commit to the daily application of The Compound Effect.

Why Is The Compound Effect A Manifesting Generator's Best Friend?

Because Manifesting Generator's thrive on a variety of interests, they are best to switch between them as they feel called to or the moment they recognise they're forcing themselves to do things they don't feel like doing. Switching out keeps their excitement, energy, focus and flow in a high state. 

For me at least, The Compound Effect addresses my challenge of impatience. If I were to focus on one thing at a time I would immediately feel FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).

To apply The Compound Effect you simply need to:

  1. Make a list of the projects, activities, goals, books, chores, habits etc that you wish to integrate or complete.
  2. Make a commitment to yourself to progress each one at least a little bit each day or week.

How To Track And Be Mindful Of The Compounding Effect

To keep myself mindful of everything I want to progress daily or at least regularly I use a Daily Habit Tracker as seen below. I fill out the left column with the habits, projects, interests and every day I tick the boxes down the column as I progress them forward even if just a smidge. It all adds up!
